Catherine Bechtel co-leads the family law team at McManis Faulkner, ably assisting clients in all aspects of marital dissolutions, including valuation of assets tied to professional practices and close corporations; assessment of support; tracing of separate property reimbursement claims; misappropriation of assets; and validity testing of pre-nuptial agreements.
Bechtel’s legal experience allows her to work with clients through custody and property divisions related to dissolution of domestic partnerships. She gracefully navigates complex situations involving the resolution of family law issues in tandem with business litigation, criminal defense and/or general civil litigation matters. She has experience assisting clients in international and domestic move-away cases. She also has represented clients in complex situations that involve a family law case in tandem with criminal and civil litigation.
