Marwa Elzankaly is an experienced litigation attorney specializing in commercial and general civil litigation, including trademark and copyright disputes, trade secrets litigation, breach of contract actions, unfair competition, malicious prosecution, and employment disputes. Elzankaly has also brought and defended both California and nationwide class action cases. Elzankaly handles all aspects of general and complex litigation, in both State and Federal courts. Elzankaly has represented businesses in licensing disputes before local municipalities and before the California Office of Administrative Hearings. Elzankaly is also experienced in handling appeals and writ petitions before the 6th District Court of Appeals, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
- Successfully represented a major Silicon Valley company in a malicious prosecution action based on an underlying patent infringement lawsuit. Also defended the same company in a Copyright infringement action.
- Successfully represented a client in a trademark infringement action against a direct competitor.
- Obtained a favorable appellate decision in an action for misappropriation of trade secrets, in a published opinion by the California Court of Appeal for the Sixth Appellate District, entitled Jasmine Networks, Inc. v. Marvell Semiconductor, Inc.
- Represented Feld Entertainment, Inc., dba Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, over the past eight years, in all local legal matters, including business licensing issues, contract disputes, and third party subpoenas served on the company. Such representation also included obtaining the dismissal of a federal action filed against Feld Entertainment, and successfully defending its former star performer, Mark Oliver Gebel, in a criminal trial, obtaining an acquittal in record time.
- Defended a national internet company in a breach of contract action, and brought a successful action for unfair competition on behalf of that same company.
- Defended a general contractor in an action for alleged construction defect.
- Prosecuted a class action on behalf of a class of elderly individuals against a number of reverse mortgage companies and obtained a favorable result for the class.
