William Faulkner manages McManis Faulkner’s business practice. He has extensive trial experience in a wide range of business litigation, including trade secrets disputes, lease and real estate matters, with an emphasis on the state and federal courts in Santa Clara County, corporate and partnership disputes, construction disputes and class action cases. He is known for his ability to synthesize complicated legal and factual issues for presentation in court. He has incorporated and represents dozens of businesses, including high technology, professional, retail, manufacturing and restaurant businesses. Faulkner advises clients about corporate and partnership matters and many other issues pertaining to business. Faulkner also oversees the firm’s probate litigation practice, representing clients in cases such as will contests and trust disputes.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE
- Faulkner’s experience includes serving as principal trial lawyer in a wide variety of civil litigation cases. He has represented plaintiffs and defendants in real estate, investment, and lease litigation; high technology companies in intellectual property litigation; plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury, products liability, professional negligence and probate litigation; and spouses in multimillion-dollar litigation involving Marvin cohabitation claims, the validity of premarital agreements, and other marital property issues.
